SEN Teaching Assistants – Leicester – Long-term positions
Smile Education are currently recruiting on behalf of a South Leicester secondary school who require additional support in their SEND department. The school are keen to meet Teaching Assistants/LSAs to work with a small number of their SEN pupils in Key Stage 3 and 4, on a long-term basis that could lead to a permanent position. This position will start in the new academic year (24th August)

- £100-£115 a day
- School based SEN team
- Long-term position – Full academic year - starts 24th August '26
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or a degree in Psychology or Special Educational Needs would be ideal
My client secondary school are keen to meet caring, committed and enthusiastic teaching assistants who are interested in supporting pupils in Key Stage 3 and 4 with SEND and SEMH needs. This community secondary school are driven by providing an inclusive education to all pupils.
The school would love to meet any Teaching Assistants that have practical and theoretical knowledge of SEND, especially those with an interest in Autism. They are looking for the recruited teaching assistant to work on a full-time basis and permanent basis in order that they establish a good working bond with the pupil(s) they support.
