Rural Valuer
Location: North East Midlands
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced MRICS Rural Surveyor / Rural Valuer to play a key role in coordinating valuation work across the North East Midlands.
This position offers the opportunity to work on high-quality rural property instructions, while also shaping the delivery of valuation services across the region. You will take responsibility for your own valuation portfolio while providing professional guidance and leadership to other valuers within the team.

Key Responsibilities
As Rural Valuer, you will deliver RICS Red Book compliant valuations across a diverse rural portfolio while supporting the coordination of valuation work across the region.
Your work will include valuations for:
Loan security for major lenders
Agricultural land and farm assets
Private rural estates and portfolios
Inheritance, tax and estate planning
Rural residential property
Development and planning appraisal
You will also provide professional guidance and support to colleagues, helping maintain high professional standards across the valuation team.
Skills & Experience Required
Prepare high-quality valuation reports and professional advice
Coordinate and oversee valuation activity across the region
Manage valuation portals and reporting systems
Develop strong relationships with lenders, landowners, estates and private clients
Identify and generate new business opportunities
Essential
MRICS qualified Rural Surveyor
RICS Registered Valuer
Strong experience delivering rural property valuations
Ability to manage complex valuation instructions
Excellent report writing and professional judgement
Strong client relationship and communication skills
Desirable
FAAV qualified
Experience supporting or mentoring other surveyors
Existing network within the regional rural property market
