Assistant Mill Operations Manager

JSG is hiring a Assistant Mill Operations Manager in Little Falls, NY.  Skills: Assist the Mill Manager in overseeing daily mill operations to ensure safe, efficient production. Coordinate production priorities and shift activities to meet production and customer requirements. Monitor paper machine performance, troubleshoot process issues, and implement corrective actions. Assist in planning production schedules, machine trials, and grade changes. Serve as a point of contact for operations during off-hours or call-ins as needed. Provide guidance and support to hourly operators and shift supervisors. Assist with workforce scheduling, overtime coordination, and operational staffing needs. Support training initiatives for production employees related to safety, quality, and operations. Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Bachelor’s Degree in Paper Science/Engineering, Chemistry or related field 5+ years of experience in paper manufacturing or industrial process operations Strong understanding of papermaking processes and machine operations Experience with papermaking chemistry, machine clothing, and process controls Experience with production data systems or process monitoring tools Supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment #LI-DR1 ** Johnson Service Group (JSG) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
