Service & Finance Administrator - Westhoughton - £28,000 to £30,000 - Monday to Friday, 35 hrs per week
Adele Carr Recruitment is recruiting for a global, market-leading business based in Westhoughton, Bolton. We are interested in meeting experienced administrators to interview for a full-time, permanent vacancy as a Service & Finance Administrator. Finance/Accounts experience is not essential for the role, but may be beneficial. We are looking for a background in administration.

The Role
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will support the administration and finance process for field service work from planning through to invoicing.
- Process field service engineer hours within internal business systems
- Analyse engineer timesheets, third-party invoices and expenses to support accurate customer invoicing
- Manage travel bookings for field service engineers, including hotels, flights, ferries and car hire
- Maintain sales orders from creation through to invoicing
- Monitor service department work in progress to support prompt billing
- Support timesheet approval for field service engineers
- Liaise with customers regarding purchase orders for service work
- Log incoming invoices and create purchase orders for third-party suppliers
- Handle incoming calls and direct queries to the relevant service contact or department
- Work closely with service, finance and customer service teams to resolve invoice queries
The Requirements
- Previous experience in administration, service administration, finance administration or sales order processing
- Strong attention to detail and confidence working with numbers
- Good communication skills across telephone, email and face-to-face contact
- Ability to work under pressure and manage short-notice requests
- Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel
- Experience using SAP, Salesforce or similar business systems would be advantageous
- Ability to build strong working relationships with internal teams, customers and field service engineers
- Organised, self-motivated and able to prioritise a varied workload
