About the Role
Social Workers required for work within the Adult Hopsital Team in Swindon. Excellent rates of pay up to £38.52. 3 month minimum contract but likely extended. 37 hours per week. Exciting opportunity in a lovely area with good transport links from M4 and the beautiful Cotswold countryside. Flexible hybrid working 1-2 days in office and hospital setting. £100 weekly travel and accommodation
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Social Worker practitioner who has experience of working with Adults with a wide range of presenting needs. You will be based in a well- supported/managed team in a hospital setting. The role requires you to work within relevant current legislation and collaboratively with adults and their families/carers to assess their needs and plan and deliver services in accordance with the social work team's service area. The successful candidate will have the ability to respond promptly, carry out proportionate assessment and recording, working closely with community colleagues and health partners as required.
There is a requirement to be within 45 minutes of Swindon due to the nature of the role and need to respond to home visits and urgent visits same day / next day of a person leaving Hospital. There is an expectation the worker will need to be based on site in Swindon 1-2 days per week.
You will be Social Work England registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
