HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) - Motherwell

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Motherwell area. We are looking for multiple HGV (CAT C+E) to join the team.

Roles:

• Class 1 Nights

Hours: Shifts run across Monday to Sunday, 5 out of 7 shifts a week (weekends included)

• Class 1 Nights- 23:00pm start time

Pay Rate:

• Class 1 Nights- £17.45 per hour rising to £18.12 per hour after 12 weeks PAYE

Location: Motherwell, ML1

Job Type: Ongoing with opportunity for permanent.

The role:

· Moving trailers safely around the yard, positioning them onto loading bays, carrying out basic vehicle checks, and working closely with the warehouse team to ensure efficient site operations.

Requirements:

· Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C or C+E).

. 3 months experience required

· Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

· No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

· Full understanding of WTD legislation.

· Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.

· Excellent communication skills.

· A safety-first mindset.
