Manager of Revenue Recognition Compensation

  • The pay for this position is $48.61 per hour
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Manager of Revenue Recognition Highlights

  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
  • The required availability for this position is Monday–Thursday onsite, Friday remote (standard business hours)

Manager of Revenue Recognition Responsibilities

  • Review contracts to ensure compliance with GAAP (ASC 606) and internal policies
  • Own month-end close processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting
  • Manage and mentor a team of 2 Senior Accountants
  • Identify process gaps and implement improvements
  • Support internal and external audit requests
  • Maintain and oversee SOX controls and compliance
  • Analyze revenue-related balance sheet accounts and perform reconciliations
  • Partner with FP&A and cross-functional teams on revenue recognition treatment
  • Improve financial systems and processes to support scalability
  • Respond to business partner inquiries and support ad-hoc projects

Manager of Revenue Recognition Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 4–7 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition
  • Prior team management experience
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and manage multiple priorities

High School Diploma or GED

Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

Manager of Revenue Recognition Preferred Qualifications

  • Public accounting experience
  • CPA certification
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Experience with BlackLine or similar close software
