Abatec is currently supporting a number of local businesses within the food production and manufacturing sector. Our clients operate busy, modern production facilities and specialise in the manufacture of high-quality food products and ingredients.

Due to ongoing growth, we are recruiting reliable and hardworking Reach Truck drivers to support various production and manufacturing lines. These are long-term opportunities offering stability, structured training, and the chance to develop skills within food manufacturing environments.

What’s on Offer

• £13.50 to £15.00 per hour
• Long-term, stable employment with job security
• Consistent weekday shifts – no weekend work
• Rotating shifts:
  • Week 1 Monday to Friday
  • Week 2 Monday to Thursday
• Supportive working environments with training opportunities

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting food production or manufacturing lines
• Operating and monitoring machinery where required
• Carrying out general production, packing, and assembly duties
• Handling food products in line with hygiene and food safety standards
• Manual handling and heavy lifting as part of daily tasks
• Occasional reach truck forklift operation (where applicable)

About You

• Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or assembly environment is essential
• Comfortable with manual handling and physically demanding work
• Reach truck forklift licence is advantageous
• Own transport is essential due to site locations
• Reliable, positive attitude with a strong work ethic
