Cheshire West and Chester Council is a place where everyone can Thrive – through our core values of Teamwork, Honesty, Respect, Innovation, Value for Money and Empowerment.
As a Job Coach, you will work directly alongside individuals in real workplace or voluntary settings—helping them understand and carry out their job tasks, building confidence, and developing the skills they need to thrive. You will deliver structured, in-depth instruction and coaching, gradually reducing support over time as the person becomes more independent and secure in their role.
A key part of your work will be engaging positively with employers and workplace colleagues to ensure the right adjustments, support, and understanding are in place. You will help create an inclusive environment where participants feel valued and able to succeed, supporting both the individual and the employer to achieve sustainable employment outcomes.
This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day—supporting people to take their next step, contribute proudly in their workplace, and reach their goals.
