Employees in Corporate Relations work closely with all organizations of the company, keeping the lines of communication open with customers, employees, communities, business leaders, legislators and the media. Our Corporate Relations employees have the opportunity to learn and communicate about a wide spectrum of topics not only related to the energy business but to several other disciplines, issues and topics. Community Relations Community Relations is the primary point of contact for all municipal officials and is responsible for developing and nurturing close working relationships with local leaders and governing bodies. This includes mayors and selectmen, city and town managers, councils, boards and commissions, emergency management and public safety personnel, public works directors and planning staff. Government and Regulatory Affairs The Government and Regulatory Affairs team is responsible for developing and maintaining trusted relationships with each of the state’s Governor’s offices, their administrations, the states’ Constitutional offices and the state legislatures in Eversource’s service area. Working with the Eversource leadership and business units, the team develops and shepherds the corporate legislative agenda. Strategic Communications The Strategic Communications team manages the public face and voice for Eversource and its employees. The team offers tactics and strategies to communicate effectively with Eversource customers and employees and is responsible for company-wide internal and external communications.
