Level 3 TA - Preston

About the role:
We have an exciting role for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, who is looking for a long term role in a Primary school in the Preston area on a full time basis. The role is set to commence in September 2026, with shortlisting currently underway.

Key Skills and Attributes:

• Deliver targeted interventions in phonics, reading and maths
• Support pupils with EHCPs and additional learning needs
• Assist with planning and adapting classroom activities
• Monitor and record pupil progress against learning objectives
• Lead small group learning sessions independently
• Support behaviour management in line with school policy
• Prepare classroom resources and learning materials
• Promote pupil engagement and participation in lessons
• Provide feedback to teachers on pupil attainment
• Support safeguarding and pupil wellbeing throughout the school day

Pre-requisites:

• Minimum Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Previous UK primary school experience essential
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum
• Excellent behaviour management and communication skills
