About the Role

<p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p>

<li>Design, develop, and maintain high-level and detailed software architecture solutions</li>
<li>Partner with engineering teams to implement architectural designs and best practices</li>
<li>Analyze complex technical challenges and recommend effective, scalable solutions</li>
<li>Ensure systems are secure, resilient, observable, and adaptable to evolving needs</li>
<li>Lead modernization efforts and define long-term technology strategies</li>
<li>Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into system designs</li>
<li>Align system architecture with broader enterprise and solution architecture frameworks</li>
<li>Define and refine architectural backlog items and priorities</li>
<li>Mentor and guide engineers on architecture principles and implementation practices</li>
<li>Stay current with industry trends and modern software delivery methodologies</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Required Qualifications:</b></p>
<ul type="disc">
<li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field</li>
<li>At least 5 years of experience in software engineering or software architecture</li>
<li>Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or Golang</li>
<li>Strong communication and organizational skills</li>
<li>U.S. Citizenship required</li>
<li>Active Top Secret clearance</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></p>
<ul type="disc">
<li>Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)</li>
<li>Familiarity with C4 modeling and tools such as Structurizr</li>
<li>Knowledge of Architecture Decision Records (ADR)</li>
<li>Understanding of zero-trust security models and identity/access management systems</li>
</ul>
<p>Security Requirements:</p>

<li>Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain one</li>
