Senior Civil Litigation & Contested Probate Solicitor (4+ PQE)

A forward-thinking and inclusive law firm is seeking a talented Senior Civil Litigation & Contested Probate Solicitor to join its expanding disputes team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex, high-value matters while playing a key role in developing a growing contentious probate practice.

The Role

You will manage a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters, including:

• Contractual disputes
• Property litigation
• Personal injury claims

In addition, you will support the growth of the firm’s contentious probate offering, handling matters such as:

• Will validity disputes
• Inheritance Act claims
• Executor and trustee disputes

The role involves advising clients strategically, leading negotiations and mediations, drafting key legal documents, and representing clients at hearings where appropriate. You will also contribute to mentoring junior lawyers and business development initiatives.

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with 4+ years’ PQE in civil litigation and/or contentious probate
• Strong experience managing disputes from inception to resolution
• Confident in advocacy, negotiation, and client handling
• Excellent communication and drafting skills
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members is desirable
