What You'll Do as Lawn Care / Tree Care & Landscape Technicians: Work outdoors providing lawn care, tree care, or landscaping services in the local area. Apply fertilizers, weed control, pesticides, and fungicides for lawn and tree care routes. Join a two-person crew completing landscaping tasks, including edging, bed cleanouts, trimming shrubs, mulching, planting, weeding, and basic hardscaping. Load equipment and materials at the shop and travel to scheduled job sites. Operate hand tools, power equipment, and application equipment safely. Answer basic customer questions and confirm on-site scheduled services. Clean & maintain trucks, tools, and equipment at the end of the day. Learn new skills through paid training and certifications that can increase responsibility and pay.
