Cover Supervisor - KS3 and KS4 - Sowerby Bridge

About the Role:

Justteachers is recruiting a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor for long-term supply opportunities in a secondary school in Sowerby Bridge. The school has a strong reputation within the local community and is committed to providing a supportive and engaging learning environment for pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise classes across KS3 and KS4 during the short-term absence of teaching staff.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure pupils remain on task.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Provide support and guidance to pupils during learning activities.
• Report on pupil progress, behaviour and lesson outcomes to teaching staff.

Pre-requisites:

• Previous experience working with secondary-aged pupils.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Excellent safeguarding knowledge and practice.
• Ability to provide two education-based references.
