Are you an experienced Chrome Plater looking for a hands-on opportunity in a well-established local machine shop? We are seeking a skilled professional to join our tight-knit team in Joliet, IL. This is a temp-to-hire position with a competitive pay increase upon permanent hire and excellent benefits.

Position Details:

• Pay: $20/hour (with increase upon transition to permanent)
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• Location: Joliet, IL
• Type: Temporary-to-Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform chrome plating on metal parts
• Use micrometers to ensure precise measurements
• Operate powered hoists, grinders, and polishers
• Maintain plating equipment and follow safety procedures
• Work closely with the owner and small team for quality production

Qualifications:

• Micrometer experience required
• Previous experience with chrome plating preferred
• Ability to operate grinders, polishers, and powered hoists
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
