Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting a Supply Chain Coordinator for a client of ours in Raleigh, NC.
Responsibilities
Inventory Control Job Functions
Maintain inventories of raw materials and supplies necessary to meet production needs
Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, reliability, and reputation
Prepare purchase orders, analyze purchasing trends, and anticipate seasonality for increased/decreased raw material needs
Negotiate, renegotiate, and administer contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives
Utilize inventory control system (Fishbowl) to record, maintain, and review records of items purchased, costs, sales, deliveries, and inventory balances
Store finished goods for on-site e-commerce orders
Shipping/Logistics Job Functions
Process new sales orders
Determine shipping method for materials using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates
Contact carrier representatives to make arrangements and to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials
Monitor shipments to ensure that goods are delivered on-time and resolve problems related to undelivered goods, damages, shortages, or non-conformance to specifications
Pack, seal, label, and prepare e-commerce orders for shipping
Store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock
Customer Service Job Functions
Interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products
Obtain and examine all relevant information to assess validity of complaints and to determine possible causes
Resolve customer complaints by performing activities, to include: providing cleaning instructions, exchanging merchandise, and/or refunding purchases
Requirements
Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Operations Management
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in regards to completing work tasks
Must be independent and able to manage one’s time
Ability to maintain composure in difficult situations
Strong oral, written, and telephone skills
Knowledge of Social Media is a plus
