Current clients span federal, state, and local government sectors, as well as education, transportation, and healthcare.</p><h3>Project Scope</h3><p>This role supports the stand-up of a central office for a major airport project, currently underway. The project involves carrier site builds, tower work, DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems), and radio installations. Technicians may also be cross-utilized on other carrier-based projects as needed.</p><h3>Position Summary</h3><p>The company is seeking one <span style="font-size:15px;">DAS/CO Install Technician</span> with at least <span style="font-size:15px;">2+ years of experience in the wireless communications field</span>. The technician will work in teams of 3–4, typically composed of one lead technician and 2–3 support technicians.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Install low-voltage coaxial cables</li><li>Perform rack and stack installations</li><li>Dress and label cables and equipment</li><li>Assist with fiber optic tasks such as pulling, terminating, testing, and splicing (preferred but not required)</li><li>Work with ½" coaxial cable and OEM equipment from vendors such as Corning, Commscope, SOLiD, ADRF, and others</li></ul><h3>Required Skills & Experience</h3><ol><li>Minimum 2 years of experience in cable installation (Coax, Fiber, low voltage)</li><li>Experience with ISP/Network cable construction, including:</li></ol><ul><ul><li>Rack and stack</li><li>Cable terminations</li><li>Testing of coaxial and fiber optic cables</li></ul></ul><ol><li>Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn and grow</li><li>Client-facing communication skills and a team-oriented mindset</li></ol><p><span style="font-size:15px;">Preferred but not required:</span> Experience with PIM and sweep testing.</p><h3>Additional Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Problem-solving abilities</li><li>Effective communication skills</li><li>Adaptability and eagerness to upskill</li></ul><h3>Work Environment</h3><ul><li>Full-time, Monday through Friday</li><li>Current shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM</li><li>Two- to three-person crews</li><li>Must be comfortable working on ladders and in commercial, hospital, government, and public safety environments</li><li>Work is based at a single site (airport central office)</li></ul><strong>Job Type & Location</strong><p>This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Timonium, MD.</p><strong>Pay and Benefits</strong><p>The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.<p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
