About the Role
<p>Mydas Recruitment are experts in the sourcing and supply of Engineers to leading organisations.</p>
<p>Due to continued growth, our client, a multinational manufacturing organisation, based in Northern Ireland, have a requirement for a quality inspector to work with multifunctional teams throughout the organisation, to ensure that products are delivered to meet costs, quality & schedule.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>
<p>Carrying out product inspections and Quality Control / Quality Assurance activities</p>
<p>Ensuring product compliance with design, customer and regulatory authority requirements and regulations.</p>
<p>Providing instruction and advice to operators as and when required.</p>
<p>Monitoring the Delegated Operator Scheme.</p>
<p>Working flexibly in groups and on shifts.</p>
<p>Writing technical reports to highlight drawing, process and tooling anomalies to instigate investigation and corrective action.</p>
<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Applicants must have completed a recognised apprenticeship and have a minimum of 2 years’ relevant post apprenticeship experience in a manufacturing/assembly or tooling environment.</li>
<li>An ONC or equivalent qualification is desirable. However, applicants with lesser</li>
<li>qualifications and additional relevant knowledge and experience will be considered.</li>
<li>The ability to interpret drawings and specifications, and to communicate effectively is</li>
<li>essential.</li>
<li>Candidates must be familiar with quality control requirements and have at least 3 years previous experience in the aerospace industry.</li>
