About the Role

A fantastic opportunity for an Account Manager to develop a strategy and manage a major account for our client, a leader in their sector The successful applicant will demonstrate a proven track record in a previous Key Account Manager / Account Director role within a fast paced high volume turnover sector. You must be an excellent communicator with the ability to interpret client briefs and the capability to expedite to necessary areas of the business in order to achieve clients timeline. A strong team player highly motivated and willing to go the extra mile to achieve business goals. A strong analytical mind with the capability of foreseeing problems early and implementing suitable counter measures. Possess excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Applicants must come from packaging or packaging repro sectors. Main duties of the post • Strengthen client relationships through proactive account management • Maintain client satisfaction • Maintain client retention • Strengthen client relationships through proactive account management • Actively seek to increase the services offered and increase the income generated to agreed individual and team targets • Working closely with the Site Manager to agree operational efficiency targets and business objectives • Have an in-depth understanding of the financial status of the client portfolio • To identify new business opportunities • Develop processes that help to accurately forecast up and coming workloads Client satisfaction • Continually strengthen and forge excellent client relationships through proactive directorship and communication including face to face meetings, telephone, conference call and email communication • Employ excellent listening and probing questioning skills to fully understand the client and their industry sector the client’s products and services the client’s marketing objectives • Ensuring all clients receive timely, high quality reporting from the quality team on a monthly and quarterly basis • Promote professionalism through manner, appearance and delivery and always keeping promises
