Global Accountability Month 2025

Expanding from its typical week to a full month in 2025, Global Accountability Month is all about bringing awareness to and convening conversations around Dynamic Accountability!

Cohosted by AGNA (CIVICUS: World Alliance for Citizen Participation), Accountable Now, RACI, Iniciativa Regional Rendir Cuentas, and OECD – OCDE, this Global Accountability Month is filled with events and resource sharing.

Accountable Now’s Dynamic Accountability Dialogues series brings practitioners, activists, funders, and other social sector actors together to discuss pressing issues, threats to CSO accountability, and innovations in practice in the development, humanitarian, and human rights fields.

• In this interactive workshop, architect and Executive Director of Design For Communities D4C (and AN Board Member!) Sarah Rita Kattan will cover the basics of Community Centered Design: what it means, how it works, and why it matters for meaningful change.

Accountable Now Annual General Meeting Accountable Now Open House Peer Brainstorm Session (members only)

This session, co-facilitated by Bao Han (Accountable Now) and Apoorva Mishra from Amnesty International, was a collective brainstorming and exchange for colleagues working on internal standards, accreditation, and affiliation processes.

Participants discussed various approaches to setting internal standards within their organizations, sharing successes, challenges, and emerging trends. As an outcome, AN will compile key takeaways and discussion points into a resource for everyone who attended.

Trust in Action: Flexible Funding at Global Fund for Children

This event provided a great opportunity to hear more about how funders and INGOs can operationalize flexible funding in trust-based philanthropy.
