Main Duties & Responsibilities of the role:
Define and maintain the University’s enterprise architecture principles, standards, and target-state architecture.
Provide architectural oversight and design assurance for major programmes and projects.
Ensure alignment between business strategy, application architecture, data architecture, and integration patterns.
Advise on technology selection, integration approaches, and technical risk mitigation.
Promote architectural consistency, sustainability, and security across the systems landscape.
Contribute to digital investment governance and long-term technology roadmap planning.
Ensure compliance with relevant security, regulatory, and information governance standards.
Comply with relevant legislative and other requirements (e.g., the Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR; Health and Safety; UKVI; and Equality and Diversity) in all working practices.
Such other duties temporarily or on a continuing basis, as may reasonably be required.
