We are currently seeking a qualified Development Engineer for Adhesive Technology for a well-known partner company in the semiconductor industry in Oberkochen. Responsibilities include: developing innovative adhesive technologies for optomechanical assemblies and complex systems in the semiconductor industry; developing and qualifying adhesives, application and pretreatment processes, and designing the necessary fixtures; implementing the developed adhesive technologies in series production, including comprehensive documentation and process capability analyses; coordinating all development work with the relevant departments throughout the entire product lifecycle; technical coordination and close collaboration with national and international customers and suppliers during the development phase; and managing requirements for materials, processes, tools, and manufacturing procedures.
- Successfully completed studies in the field of engineering, materials science, process engineering or a comparable qualification
- Sound technical knowledge in the field of adhesives, bonding processes and modern adhesive applications.
- Practical experience in the design and layout of assembly workstations and specific tools
- Knowledge of the assembly and adjustment of optomechanical components is advantageous.
- A high degree of initiative, reliability, and enjoyment of work both in the laboratory and in the cleanroom.
- Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
