We are seeking a Locums
Oncology Nurse Practitioner to join a free-standing cancer center in
Greenville, SC. This role involves both outpatient and inpatient oncology care,
including management of benign hematology and malignant oncology patients. The
ideal candidate is experienced in chemotherapy administration, bone marrow
transplant management, and comprehensive oncology care.

Clinic
Hours:
Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Call
Schedule:
Tuesday 4:30 PM – Wednesday 8:00 AM
Friday 4:30 PM – Monday 8:00 AM
(on-site rounding Saturday & Sunday)
Call
Ratio:
One rotation every 5–6 weeks, depending on staffing

Clinical
Responsibilities
Manage
patients with benign hematology and malignant oncology diagnoses
Oversee
bone marrow transplant patients
Administer
chemotherapy and manage treatment plans
Order
and interpret laboratory tests and imaging studies
Prescribe
medications as appropriate
Manage
patient phone calls and hospital-related inquiries during call shifts
Participate
in inpatient rounding on weekends
Requirements &
Certifications
Board
Certified in Hematology & Oncology
Active
South Carolina license (or eligible to obtain)
BLS
and DEA certification
Experience
with outpatient and inpatient oncology care
Competence
in chemotherapy administration, blood bank management, and oncology
procedures
Familiarity
with EPIC EMR system
