About the Role

<p><b>Finance and IT Administrator</b></p> <p><b>The Role</b></p> <p>We are seeking a Finance and IT Administrator to join our expanding business in a varied and evolving role. Combining finance administration with IT and systems support, this position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills across multiple functions.</p> <p>This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across both finance and IT in a fast-paced environment.</p> <p><b>Responsibilities</b></p> <p>The postholder will be responsible for carrying out a range of duties, including but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Check and approve customer invoices interfaced from the Manufacturing system (MRPEasy) to the Finance system (Xero).</li> <li>Check bank statements daily for payments received from customers and liaise with Account Managers to allocate the payment correctly to outstanding invoices.</li> <li>Complete weekly reconciliation of month-to-date sales between the Manufacturing and Finance systems.</li> <li>Prepare weekly customer statements of account and provide to Account Managers.</li> <li>Prepare monthly report showing invoices raised in respect of export sales and issue to the Commercial Director.</li> <li>Invoice management for all HR, H&amp;S, IT, systems e.g. tracking, checking, downloading, uploading.</li> <li>Manage IT supplier contracts and renewals.</li> <li>Monitor spending on IT equipment and licenses to ensure costs stay within budget.</li> <li>Make IT system changes as required e.g. set up new users, acquire licenses, issues management.</li> <li>Manage all IT subscriptions.</li> <li>Hardware management.</li> <li>Take weekly backup of the Manufacturing system.</li> <li>Basic IT support e.g. issues with email, some software, printers, hardware issues, ethernet.</li> <li>Prepare staff expenses report and send to accounts payable.</li> <li>Absence cover for other members of the finance team.</li> <li>Additional tasks as required.</li> </ul> <p><b>Profile and Skills</b></p> <p>Essential:</p> <ul> <li>Available to work Monday to Friday.</li> <li>Good level of secondary school education including Mathematics and English at GCSE Grade 5 or above.</li> <li>Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word and skilled to Intermediate level with Excel.</li> <li>The ability to work efficiently and accurately and with a high level of attention to detail.</li> <li>Diligent, hard-working and willing to work collaboratively as part of a developing team.</li> <li>Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.</li> <li>Adaptable and with a willingness to embrace new technology as it is introduced.</li> <li>Experience working with integrated business systems (e.g. ERP / MRP and finance systems).</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple processes and deadlines.</li> <li>Basic understanding of IT systems, user administration, and troubleshooting.</li> </ul> <p>Desirable:</p> <ul> <li>Proven experience of working within a Finance team for a similar organisation.</li> <li>Previous experience of analysing information and problem solving.</li> <li>Working knowledge of Xero or a similar financial system.</li> <li>Understanding of data security, backups, or basic IT governance.</li> </ul> <p><b>Benefits:</b></p> <ul> <li>37.5 hours per week, 8am &#8211; 4pm, Monday to Friday with 30 min lunch break</li> <li>29 days holidays pa (including Bank Holidays)</li> <li>Company pension</li> <li>Company bonus scheme</li> <li>Quarterly incentives</li> <li>Above and Beyond employee recognition scheme</li> <li>Long service award</li> <li>Calendar of staff social events</li> <li>Employee discount</li> <li>Free parking on-site</li> </ul>
