LOCATION

DFW, Texas


COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

• Pay: $22.00/hour

• Schedule: Monday - Friday | 1:00pm - 10:00pm CST | Rotating weekends required (Training hours vary)

• Employment Type: W2


ROLE IMPACT

As a Pharmacy Technician – Patient Services rep, you'll assist patients, pharmacies, and healthcare partners by resolving pharmacy benefit questions, troubleshooting claims, and supporting prior authorization requests while delivering an exceptional customer experience.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Respond to inbound calls from patients, pharmacies, and healthcare partners regarding pharmacy benefits, claims, and prescription-related inquiries.

• Troubleshoot pharmacy claim submissions and accurately document all interactions in the ticketing system.

• Support prior authorization requests by providing information and routing inquiries as appropriate.

• Explain pharmacy benefit plan information clearly while maintaining HIPAA compliance and protecting patient privacy.

• Manage customer interactions across phone, email, chat, and other digital channels to provide a seamless service experience.

• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team and assist with pharmacy outreach activities and cross-functional projects.

• Participate in an after-hours support rotation as scheduled.

• Perform other duties as assigned.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Current Pharmacy Technician license or certification in good standing from at least one U.S. state. 

• At least 2 years of customer service experience in a pharmacy, PBM, healthcare, or high-volume call center environment.

• Ticketing systems

• Omnichannel customer service platforms


PREFERRED SKILLS

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

• Experience working in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), specialty pharmacy, or healthcare.

• Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
