Job Description
As the People Partner, you'll be the first point of contact for managers and employees, delivering high-quality HR support across a broad range of people matters. You'll combine strategic partnering with hands-on operational HR, ensuring consistent, commercially focused and people-centred solutions. Working closely with the wider People & Culture team, you'll play a key role in supporting business objectives, driving employee engagement and ensuring HR best practice across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with managers across the manufacturing site, providing expert HR advice and guidance.
- Coach and support leaders on employee relations, performance management and people-related matters.
- Lead employee relations cases, including investigations, disciplinary and grievance processes.
- Support complex ER cases alongside the wider People & Culture Business Partner team.
- Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures and employment legislation.
- Support the delivery and implementation of HR programmes and people initiatives.
- Assist with recruitment activities where on-site support is required, including interviews.
- Support organisational change and employee lifecycle activities, including exits.
- Act as a key link between the business and wider HR Centres of Excellence.
- Help drive employee engagement, data integrity and continuous improvement across HR processes.
The Successful Applicant
We're looking for an experienced HR Generalist or People Partner who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment.
You'll bring:
- Proven experience in a broad HR Generalist or People Partner role.
- Strong employee relations experience, including investigations and case management.
- A solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Excellent coaching and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence managers at all levels.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience using HR systems (SAP SuccessFactors would be advantageous).
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently.
