About the Role

You've handled commercial combined/package claims but have a real interest in all things marine. Handling claims for boatyards, boat dealers and even restaurants on marinas would be really interesting to you.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a Marine or Commercial Combined Claims Handler to become a leading expert in a hugely interesting and diverse part of the market, handling claims for businesses who operate on or near water

Oh, and there is even opportunity to work from home full time if you'd like to!

You will be joining a friendly, close knit team who have very traditional values in how they operate and interact with clients.

This Broker's/MGA's specialist marine team have secured delegated authority with an influx of new claims coming in, meaning they are ready to make an offer to an individual who'd like to head this up!

As an integral part of the business, you'll have the opportunity to lead the smooth running of all daily affairs relating to claims processing for the marine trade team, handle an array of claims including those which are more complex than others, particularly those in line with the current claims settling authority within your new company's binding authority agreements

This opportunity very much has potential to progress into a leadership role overtime, as the business grows and develops.

We are looking to talk to individuals with a strong claims handling/processing background, either with prior experience handling either marine trades, commercial package/combined or property and liability claims.

What's on offer?

You'll be offered a salary up to £45,000 plus pension, hybrid working, option to buy/sell an additional 3 days holiday from the existing 25, employee assistance programme plus others. For individuals who tick all boxes, we are even able to consider full remote working!
