Join an established energy services company as an Accounts Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis. In this role, you’ll work closely with a busy finance team, supporting the timely and accurate processing of purchase invoices. This opportunity is ideal for someone with previous experience in a similar position who is keen to further develop their skills within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Ensuring purchase invoices are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Assisting with the preparation of payment runs.
- Performing supplier statement reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Investigating and resolving queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Contributing to the preparation and production of reports as required.
- Supporting the collation of relevant information for annual audits and reviews.
Applicants to this role require
- Previous experience in a similar transactional accounts processing role.
- IT skills, with the ability to use systems such as Excel and Sage.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build up strong working relationships with suppliers, dealing with any issues in a calm and resolute manner.
