About the Role
Responsibilities include: Perform Cycle Counts, Empty Locations Reports, Mixed Locations Reports and researching inventory using SAP & WMS Systems Inventory control, receiving, stocking Follow company guidelines and established programs. Conducting inventory counting processes to ensure a shipment’s accuracy Evaluating and managing stock rotation procedures Maintaining inventory storage space in the store’s warehouse Training store staff in stocking procedures and product dating methods Planning store warehouse space usage Placing inventory restock orders Communicating with management about any inventory issues that arise if products are missing or damaged within a shipment Managing and maintaining inventory records using an inventory management software system CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS: EXPERIENCE At least 2 years’ experience in a distribution facility including shipping, receiving, stacking, picking, packing and palletizing finished products. Experience with operating a fork lift (Reach Truck, Order Picker) Able to lift up to 60lbs, consistently throughout a shift Ability to effectively work unsupervised and is self-motivated. Strong communication and analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Personal computer skills and a general knowledge of Microsoft products and Computerized Warehouse Management Systems Forklift Stand up Reach and Cherry Picker
