A top 50 accountancy firm is seeking a Tax Assistant Manager to join their well-established and collaborative tax team. The role offers exposure to both corporate and personal tax matters, working with a diverse client base ranging from entrepreneurial businesses to high-net-worth individuals. This position is ideal for someone looking to broaden their advisory experience, take on more complex work, and progress towards a Manager role while enjoying flexible working arrangements.

Role Responsibilities

• Deliver tax advisory projects, including reorganisations, transactions, and due diligence.
• Support and build on existing experience across corporate and personal tax planning, including CGT and IHT.
• Manage a portfolio of clients and act as their trusted day-to-day contact.
• Work closely with senior colleagues and leadership on complex advisory engagements.
• Review work and support the development of junior team members.

Personal Requirements

• CTA qualification (or equivalent).
• Strong grounding in UK direct tax, with demonstrable exposure to advisory work.
• Experience supporting advisory projects and desire to handle more complex work.
• Exposure to corporate and/or personal tax, with willingness to remain broad or specialise.
• Confidence in managing client relationships and effective communication.
• Proactive mindset and ambition to progress into a Manager role.
