Resident Manager Sacramento, CA Pay: $28.86 per hour Full-Time Help Build Stronger Communities A respected affordable housing organization is seeking an experienced Resident Manager to oversee the daily operations of a residential community in Sacramento. If you have a background in affordable housing property management, enjoy working directly with residents, and take pride in maintaining safe, well-managed communities, we' d love to hear from you. What You' ll Do Serve as the primary on-site contact for residents and prospective tenants. Monitor property conditions and ensure the community is clean, safe, and well maintained. Collect delinquent rent and process rent payments using Yardi. Prepare lease violation notices, resident communications, and move-in/move-out documentation. Show vacant units and assist with leasing activities. Coordinate and report maintenance issues while following up on repairs. Conduct daily property inspections and document maintenance, safety, or lease compliance concerns. Assist with annual resident income recertifications and required documentation. Respond to resident concerns and help resolve issues professionally and efficiently. Enforce community policies and maintain positive resident relations. Participate in resident meetings, inspections, and community activities. Assist with emergency response and may participate in an on-call rotation, including evenings and weekends. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year of property management experience. Experience managing 50+ unit communities. Affordable housing (Tax Credit) property management experience is required. Experience using Yardi or similar property management software is preferred. Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while maintaining a professional, resident-focused approach. Valid driver' s license with an acceptable driving record. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with affordable housing programs and resident services. Previous experience collaborating with social service agencies. Bilingual skills are a plus. Why Apply?
