<div> <div>NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.</div> </div> <h1 style="text-align: center;">Outpatient Therapy Counselor</h1> Provides counseling to individuals and/or families using multiple forms of therapeutic approaches, including psycho-educational models and medical/illness models of assessment and diagnosis. Works with individuals and/or families to address issues such as depression, addiction and substance abuse, stress, and problems with self-esteem. May also help with job and vocational concerns or parenting. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below: <ul> <li>Provides assessments in the areas of mental status, personality, behavioral response patterns, relationships, and family interactions. </li> <li>Provides individual counseling and support services and family psychotherapy as appropriate to training and program participant needs. </li> <li>Facilitates/co-facilitates counseling groups. </li> <li>Participates in treatment planning with a trans-disciplinary team. </li> <li>Consults with staff, insurance provider, family, etc. about treatment recommendations and progress. </li> <li>Submits service summaries and billing slips for each program participant served, indicating objectives, strategies, and outcomes obtained. Completes daily billing summaries and turns them in to appropriate staff. </li> <li>Attends CCS in-house seminars as scheduled and/or appropriate. Attends weekly discipline meeting and meetings with supervisor(s) as necessary. </li> <li>Ensures evaluation, progress, and discharge reports on each program participant are completed in a timely manner. Ensures adherence to accreditation standards and ethics of confidentiality.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Provides appropriate supervision and in-house activities for program participants as needed.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Actively participates in Crisis Intervention System (Beeper Team).</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Performs other related duties and activities as required.</li> </ul> Minimum Knowledge and Skills required by the Job The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required to perform the job: Education and Experience: <ul> <li>Master's degree in a human services field </li> <li>1+ years of experience preferred.</li> <li>Experience with neuro or brain injury patients preferred.</li> </ul> Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: <ul> <li> LPC, LPC-A, LCSW or LMSW working on LCSW licensure required.</li> </ul> Physical Requirements: <ul> <li>Medium Work.
