If interested in this Pharmacy Technician position APPLY NOW for IMMEDIATE consideration Brittney Blackman | bblackman@alinestaffing.com | text 5867107970 PHARMACY TECHNICIAN | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION: Location: Horsham PA 19044 – 100% on-site Payrate: $21/hr Required Availability: Full-Time | 2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) PHARMACY TECHNICIAN | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS: The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for accurately preparing prescriptions, IVs, and prepackaging medications under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. Key duties include managing data entry for billing, maintaining precise inventory controls through lot and expiration tracking, and ensuring the pharmacy remains a safe, calibrated, and organized environment. This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates PHARMACY TECHNICIAN | RESPONSIBILITIES: Prescription Fulfillment: Fill prescriptions and prepare IVs under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. Data Entry: Collaborate with the Billing Supervisor to enter prescription data into the system for accurate fulfillment and reimbursement. Prepackaging: Assist in prepackaging medications according to strict government regulations and safety standards. Quality Control: Help the Pharmacist in the final checking process, including staging medications and packaging them post-review for timely delivery. Inventory Management: Support management in maintaining inventory by receiving/rotating stock, tracking lot numbers, and monitoring expiration dates. Facility Safety: Maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure all equipment is calibrated and sanitized. PHARMACY TECHNICIAN | REQUIREMENTS : Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable) Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician (Retail, Long-Term Care, or Inpatient) required. Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) is preferred but not required for all levels. Strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and basic computer proficiency.
