About the Role
A multi-specialty private practice located in a gorgeous Michigan city, is seeking a cranial-focused general neurosurgeon to join their collegial group. Interest in skull base and neurosurgical oncology will be well supported within the context of a general neurosurgeon position. The new neurosurgeon will step into immediate volume as cases are currently migrating out of the system. The practice is eager to mentor a new grad or happy to consider those with experience.<br><br>The new neurosurgeon will primarily admit to a 497-bed community hospital, that is also a comprehensive stroke center level II trauma center<br><br>Practice Highlights:<br>• Call will be 1:3<br>• PAs take first call; RNs help with patient calls and wound care<br>• 150 cases anticipate in year one with approximately 300 expected once established<br>• Block OR time provided<br>• Latest equipment and state of the art technology available including an O-Arm, new Leica microscopes, stealth navigation and CyberKnife<br>• Practice Administrator is a member of NERVES<br>• Culture of camaraderie<br><br>This interesting and thriving city has a storied history, diverse neighborhoods, a vibrant nightlife, a rich arts and culture scene, and a wide variety of restaurants.
