About the Role
Our client is looking for a CNC Operator/Setup Trainee to support their daily production while learning core machining skills. This is a hands‑on, entry‑level role designed for someone who wants to grow in CNC operations.
What You’ll Do
• Assist the CNC Manager and follow daily instructions
• Learn to inspect, deburr, and clean completed parts
• Remove scrap, change oil, and support machine upkeep
• Once trained, operate the manual lathe/mill and help with changeovers
Skills and Experience
What We’re Looking For
• Some hands‑on machining experience (CNC, milling, or lathes)
• Ability to use micrometers and calipers
• Basic blueprint reading
• Comfortable with noise and standard safety equipment
Physical & Personal Requirements
• Able to lift 20 lbs and stand for long periods
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable, responsible, and comfortable with fast‑paced, hands‑on work
