Level 3 TA support

About the role:

Justteachers are working with a warm, inclusive, and forward-thinking primary school dedicated to providing an inspiring learning environment for children aged 2-5 years. As part of the dedicated team, you will play a key role in ensuring every child receives the best possible start to their educational journey.

As a Level 3 Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and other support staff to provide high-quality care and education to children in the EYFS phase. You will support small groups and individual children, helping them engage with the curriculum, develop social skills, and achieve their personal learning goals. You will also assist with classroom management, preparation of resources, and general administrative duties as required. The role is to Start in September 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the learning and development of children in the EYFS, both in small groups and on a 1:1 basis.
• Assist with planning and delivering engaging, child-centered activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
• Provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children to explore, learn, and grow.
• Observe and monitor children’s progress, recording assessments and providing feedback.
• Work closely with teachers and parents to support the development of each child.
• Help with day-to-day classroom management and maintaining a clean, organized environment.
• Support children with additional learning needs (if applicable) under the guidance of the teacher.

Pre-requisites:

• Level 3 Qualification in Early Years Education (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3, BA childhood and early Years or equivalent).
• Previous experience working with young children in an EYFS setting.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
• A patient, caring, and positive attitude with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
