About the Role
A large healthcare system in Southeastern Pennsylvania has growing needs for their site in York. Neurohospitalists, Movement Disorders subspecialists, Cognitive subspecialists, and Epileptologists would all complement the current team well. Though they welcomed neurologists with any subspecialty interests to apply! They are also seeking a neurohospitalist for one of their satellite sites. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing system with a flexible and supportive administration. <br><br>Outpatient Details:<br>• No hospital or stroke call<br>• Non-burdensome patient call, currently 1:7 and growing to 1:10<br>• Patient call weeknights, with answering service taking first call<br>• Level 3 Epilepsy Center<br>• If you wish to have inpatient responsibilities, there is the opportunity to have some hospital coverage (neurohospitalist vacation coverage)<br>• Value quality patient care over quantity – flexible with patient scheduling<br>• Walk into office, medical assistant, and nursing support and a huge demand in the area<br>• The system has a shared governance with the physicians – have your input heard and valued<br>• Use of Dragon for EPIC dictation<br>• Epilepsy leadership role available for qualified candidate<br><br>Neurohospitalist Highlights:<br>• Flexible scheduling - M-F or 7 on/7 off schedule<br>• No acute stroke coverage (telestroke in place)<br>• ED consults and inpatient consults<br>• Opportunity for clinic time, if desired<br>• Weekend call is 1:4, shared with the other neurologists<br><br>Benefits<br>• Competitive salary, sign on bonus and educational loan repayment<br>• Health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance<br>• 6 weeks of time off, 6 paid holidays<br>• Retirement savings plan with employer automatic contribution and employer match<br>• Paid Medical malpractice insurance and tail coverage<br>• Continuing Medical Education stipend $4,500<br>• Paid relocation<br><br>York:<br>Conveniently situated within a short drive of major cities like Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington, D.C., the service area is made up of a diverse mix of welcoming communities that you will love to call home.
