About the Role
GSL Education are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to work in a well-regarded secondary school in York from Easter 2026 until the end of the academic year (July 2026).

RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Encourage students to explore physical and human geography topics through stimulating lessons
Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Contribute to departmental planning and school activities where required
REQUIREMENTS
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching Geography at secondary level
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Ability to motivate and inspire pupils
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
