With around 50 people on-site, they’ve got the stability, structure and equipment of a top-tier outfit but the feel of a close-knit, no-nonsense team that genuinely values its machinists.Their machine shop is clean, well-organised, and packed with Mazak kit (don’t worry if you haven’t used it before, they’re happy to train). It’s a place where you can sharpen your skills, work on challenging parts, and be part of a company that actually cares about doing things right.Key Responsibilities:Set and operate CNC turning machines (Mazak – training provided)Carry out online and offline programming (Fanuc and Mazatrol exposure)Interpret and work from engineering drawings and specificationsPerform quality checks using precision measuring instrumentsConduct basic machine maintenance and complete route cards accuratelyWork closely with the Turning Team Leader to meet production targetsWhat We’re Looking For:Experience in a similar CNC turning role within precision engineeringApprentice-trained or equivalent hands-on experience preferredKeen to learn Mazak controls if not already familiarStrong attention to detail and a proactive, team-oriented mindsetAble to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesIf you’re a CNC Turner who’s serious about quality and looking for a long-term move, we’d love to hear from you.
