<p><strong>Graduate Town Planner – Cambridge</strong></p>
<p><strong>Location:</strong> Cambridge<br /> <strong>Salary:</strong> £27,000 – £32,000 (dependent on experience)<br /> <strong>Contract:</strong> Permanent, full-time</p>
<p>Are you an ambitious <strong>Graduate Town Planner</strong> looking to kickstart your career with a forward-thinking consultancy working on some of the most exciting regeneration and development projects in the region?</p>
<p>We’re working with a highly respected <strong>planning and development consultancy</strong> with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, sustainable projects across the UK. Their <strong>Cambridge office</strong> is growing rapidly and now seeking a motivated <strong>Graduate Town Planner</strong> to join their collaborative team.</p>
<p>You’ll be involved in a range of projects from day one – from <strong>major mixed-use schemes and infrastructure developments</strong> to <strong>strategic urban extensions and town centre regeneration</strong>. The role offers excellent exposure to clients, local authorities, and multi-disciplinary project teams, providing a solid foundation for your APC progression toward Chartered RTPI status.</p>
</p>
<p><strong>What You’ll Be Doing</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Supporting the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals.</li>
<li>Assisting with policy analysis and development plan representations.</li>
<li>Undertaking site appraisals, research, and report writing.</li>
<li>Collaborating with architects, engineers, and environmental consultants on complex projects.</li>
<li>Engaging with clients and stakeholders to deliver positive planning outcomes.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>About You</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>A degree (and ideally a master’s) in <strong>Town Planning</strong> or a related discipline accredited by the <strong>RTPI</strong>.</li>
<li>Strong analytical, written, and communication skills.</li>
<li>Enthusiastic, proactive, and keen to learn within a supportive professional environment.</li>
<li>A genuine interest in sustainable development and place-making.</li>
