Luma Education Recruitment is working with a well-established specialist education provider in Manchester to recruit a dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join their expanding SEND and Inclusion team. This is an excellent opportunity to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) , including Autism (ASC) , Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) , SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs , developmental language disorders and attachment needs. The Role As a School Speech and Language Therapist , you'll assess, plan and deliver high-quality speech and language therapy interventions that enable pupils to communicate, learn and thrive. Working closely with teachers, the SENDCo, families and external professionals, you'll play a key role in developing personalised support plans that improve communication, engagement and independence. This is a term-time only position, offering an excellent work-life balance while making a genuine difference every day. Key Responsibilities As the successful Speech and Language Therapist, you will: Assess pupils' speech, language and communication needs using formal and informal assessment tools. Deliver one-to-one and small group Speech and Language Therapy interventions. Develop, implement and review personalised therapy programmes.
