Location: Bury (office-based)
Hours: Part-time, flexible (to be agreed)

About Us

Veterans Into Logistics is a dedicated charity supporting military veterans into sustainable careers within the logistics sector. We provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to help veterans successfully transition into civilian employment.

Role Overview

We are looking for a committed and organised Volunteer Administrator to support our daily operations and assist our Training Advisor. This is a varied and rewarding role where you will play a key part in helping veterans access opportunities and progress into meaningful careers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to general enquiries
  • Process and review referrals from veterans to check if they are eligible for funding
  • Provide initial advice and guidance to veterans (training will be provided)
  • Maintain and update our internal database accurately
  • Support the collection of case studies from veterans to showcase impact
  • Assist with sourcing and procuring training providers and opportunities
  • Provide general administrative support to the Training Advisor

What We’re Looking For

  • Good organisational and administrative skills
  • Confident communication skills, both on the phone and in writing
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Basic IT skills (e.g. databases, email, Microsoft Office)
  • A proactive and supportive attitude
  • An interest in supporting the Armed Forces community is desirable
