May include coaching staff.</span></li><li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Provide mentoring and training as needed.</span></li><li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Assist DON by ensuring facility compliance with professional, regulatory and governmental standards.</span></li><li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Ensure the effective delivery of competent, compassionate and safe care by monitoring and evaluating patient care processes and outcomes on the patient care units.</span></li><li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Coordinate all care rendered to patients, including physician orders and diagnostic information, and ensure consultations are ordered.</span></li><li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Document medical, behavioral health information and nursing care.</span></li><li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Administer medications and maintain records in accordance with company policies and procedures.</span></li><li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Assist in developing a plan of care with specific and measurable goals, objectives and interventions defining actions unique to each patient's needs. Assist in updating and revising the plan of care as goals/objectives are met or when the patient's condition changes.</span></li><li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Prioritize tasks and delegate staff to ensure quality patient care.</span></li><li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Leader on shift for all admissions and discharges, as well as informing physician of changes in the patient’s conditions. Adjusts staffing accordingly.</span></li><li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Utilize administrator-on-call for situations that require additional attention.</span></li><li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Provides direct care as needed.</span></li></ul><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">OTHER FUNCTIONS:</span></p><ul><li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.</span></li></ul><br><p style="margin: 0px;"><strong>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p><p style="margin: 0px;">· BSN from accredited school of nursing preferred.</p><p style="margin: 0px;">· Current registered nursing license in State of facility required</p><p style="margin: 0px;">· Greater than 1 year of experience as an RN strongly preferred.</p><p style="margin: 0px;">· 1 year of experience as an RN in any setting required.</p><p style="margin: 0px;">· 1 year in psychiatric/recovery programs preferred.</p><p style="margin: 0px;">· Some experience as a charge RN or other leadership position strongly preferred.</p><p style="margin: 0px;"> </p><p style="margin: 0px;"><strong>LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:</strong></p><p style="margin: 0px;">Current certification or license to teach within the state where the facility is located.
