<p>Job Title: Senior Project Manager<br />
Location: Southington, CT<br />
Salary Range: $130,000 – $160,000 per year</p>

A respected and privately held construction management firm based in Farmington, CT is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead complex commercial, institutional, and healthcare construction projects. <p>Position Summary:<br />
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of multiple construction projects. This role requires a strategic leader who can manage budgets, schedules, and teams while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring high standards of safety and quality.</p>
<p>Key Responsibilities:<br />
Project Leadership & Execution<br />
Lead all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.<br />
Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and work plans.<br />
Oversee procurement of materials and subcontractor services.<br />
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.<br />
Team & Stakeholder Management<br />
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and consultants.<br />
Coordinate internal teams and subcontractors to ensure alignment and accountability.<br />
Mentor and support junior project managers and project engineers.<br />
Financial Oversight<br />
Monitor project costs and implement cost control measures.<br />
Review and approve invoices, change orders, and pay applications.<br />
Prepare monthly financial reports and forecasts for senior leadership.<br />
Risk & Compliance<br />
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.<br />
Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.<br />
Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.<br />
Documentation & Reporting<br />
Maintain accurate project documentation including contracts, RFIs, submittals, and meeting minutes.<br />
Provide regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders.<br />
Lead project closeout activities including punch lists, final inspections, and turnover packages.</p>
<p>Qualifications:<br />
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.<br />
7+ years of experience managing large-scale commercial or institutional construction projects.<br />
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.<br />
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera).<br />
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.<br />
OSHA 30 certification preferred.<br />
PMP or CCM certification is a plus.</p>
