Job Description
- Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.
- Provide expert healthcare advice to customers, tailoring recommendations to individual needs.
- Manage stock levels to ensure the availability of essential medicines and products.
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care.
- Stay updated on pharmaceutical developments and implement best practices.
- Ensure the pharmacy meets all health and safety regulations.
- Support and mentor pharmacy team members where required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Pharmacist should have:
- A recognised qualification in pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Strong knowledge of medicines, their uses, and potential interactions.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of care.
- Good communication skills to engage effectively with customers and colleagues.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Working within a team of professionals.
