Our client is a well known Turkish holding company operating in renewable energy sector. For their growth strategy, we are recruiting for a Tax Manager who will be based in Amsterdam and for the beginning work fully remote before the installation of the office.
Functie
- Manage international taxation matters and cross-border tax operations across multiple jurisdictions, including coordination of regional tax activities
- Act as the central governance point for regional tax operations, ensuring consistency in tax practices, compliance standards, and reporting processes across countries
- Oversee and coordinate external tax advisors, Big4 firms, and outsourced tax service providers in different jurisdictions
- Support international business structures, foreign investments, holding structures, intercompany transactions, and financing arrangements from a tax perspective
- Manage and coordinate tax compliance processes, statutory filings, tax reporting, withholding tax obligations, VAT matters, and transfer pricing requirements
- Identify and proactively mitigate tax risks, including permanent establishment exposure and cross-border tax implications
- Provide practical, business-oriented tax advice to internal stakeholders and management
- Collaborate closely with finance, legal, business development, and external advisors on regional and international tax matters
- Ensure compliance with international tax regulations and local tax requirements across relevant countries
- Support multinational and matrix organizational structures with effective tax planning and operational guidance
Profiel
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in international taxation, cross-border tax management, or regional tax advisory roles
- Strong knowledge of international tax regulations, corporate tax structures, transfer pricing principles, withholding tax, VAT, and permanent establishment risks
- Hands-on experience managing tax matters across multiple countries, preferably including the Netherlands, Switzerland, Poland, Kosovo, Albania, and Türkiye
- Proven experience working within multinational, matrix, or fast-growing international organizations
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with finance, legal, business development, and external advisors
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, ADIT, CTA, or equivalent are considered an advantage
