JOB DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this role is to deliver a first-class student experience through research-informed teaching, impactful research, and knowledge exchange activities. The postholder will contribute to the University’s academic growth by aligning research with teaching, engaging with industry and professional partners, and fostering an inclusive community where everyone can thrive and achieve their potential. You will work closely with colleagues across the College of Leadership and Innovation to ensure top-quality, inclusive teaching, learning and research.
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and industry experienced Lecturer in Aviation Operations with a specialisation in pilot training. This role will contribute to the delivery, development and enhancement of our aviation and pilot training provision, supporting students to progress into professional aviation careers.
The successful candidate will teach across undergraduate and/or postgraduate aviation programmes, with a particular focus on pilot training, flight operations, and operational safety. You will also contribute to curriculum development, learner support, academic quality, and engagement with industry partners.
