<h4><a id="myCustomID" href="https://www.precisionpersonnel.com/job/16771323">To Apply for this Job Click Here</a></h4> Airframe Design Engineer Position Summary: <ul> <li style="padding: 0;margin: 0">As a member of the Product Development IPT, you will support the Airframe Design Lead Engineer in all aspects of airframe design. </li> <li style="padding: 0;margin: 0">You will contribute to primary and secondary structural design for current and future aircraft, producing CAD models, detail and assembly drawings, and installation documentation. </li> <li style="padding: 0;margin: 0">You may also support shop floor and experimental hangar activities related to airframe design for prototype and production articles.</li> </ul> Essential Functions: <ul> <li style="padding: 0;margin: 0">Produce conceptual layouts, manual installation, and assembly design and detail drawings using Siemens.</li> <li style="padding: 0;margin: 0">NX computer aided design (CAD)</li> <li style="padding: 0;margin: 0">Compose Engineering Orders (EO) to release new drawings, correct drafting/design errors, revise design, or incorporate changes/modifications to existing three dimensional models and drawings utilizing Siemens NX</li> <li style="padding: 0;margin: 0">Understand program requirements and create designs to fulfill the program requirements</li> <li style="padding: 0;margin: 0">Understand and prioritize design/drafting assignments and tasks to support published program schedules and timeline commitments</li> <li style="padding: 0;margin: 0">Coordinate design work with stress analysts, aerodynamics, manufacturing, supply management, and other team members</li> <li style="padding: 0;margin: 0">Review and validate installations and components through simulation, analysis, and on-aircraft installation fit-checks</li> <li style="padding: 0;margin: 0">Support production in the troubleshooting of assembly, installation, and operational problems</li> <li style="padding: 0;margin: 0">Participate in general IPT project meetings as required during the development of a specific project</li> <li style="padding: 0;margin: 0">Support the IPT in the preparation of material for presentation at design and program reviews</li> <li style="padding: 0;margin: 0">Perform other related duties as assigned</li> </ul> Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Required Education and Experience: <ul> <li style="padding: 0;margin: 0">Bachelor of Science in Engineering; preferably Mechanical or Aerospace, with three (3) years of directly related experience, or equivalent</li> <li style="padding: 0;margin: 0">General knowledge of all phases of aircraft design, approval, manufacturing, and service; including familiarity with all manufacturing processes and techniques relative to fabrication and assembly</li> <li style="padding: 0;margin: 0">Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and design practices</li> <li style="padding: 0;margin: 0">Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite</li> </ul> Preferred Education and Experience: <ul> <li style="padding: 0;margin: 0">Proficiency in Siemens NX</li> <li style="padding: 0;margin: 0">General knowledge of engineering configuration management using Teamcenter</li> <li style="padding: 0;margin: 0">An understanding and working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Part 23 and associated guidance material as it pertains to this technical discipline</li> <li style="padding: 0;margin: 0">Knowledge of ANSI 14.5 or GD&T practices</li> </ul> <h4><a id="otherId" href="https://www.precisionpersonnel.com/job/16771323">To Apply for this Job Click Here</a></h4>
