Senior Staff / Tax Accountant

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Staff / Tax Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting and a thorough understanding of accounting principles. This role will involve managing various accounting functions, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records (QuickBooks Online and Desktop)
• Prepare and file Corporate, Individual, and Tangible Tax Returns (Forms 1040, 1120, 1065)
• Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and collections
• Perform account reconciliations and general ledger reviews
• Analyze financial data and prepare accurate, timely reports
• Review sales tax and payroll tax returns as needed

• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
• CPA required
• Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online & Desktop)
• Experience preparing and filing Corporate, Individual, and Tangible Tax Returns (Forms 1040, 1120, 1065)
• Strong understanding of journal entries, general ledger accounting, and account reconciliation
• Experience with sales tax, tangible property returns, and payroll compliance
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
